The First Day of School

Monday, my kids started school. Jason started the 9th grade and is an official High School Student. He got all the classes that he requested - there are 8 total: Algebra, World Geography, Pre A/P Biology, English Literature, Art, German, MultiMedia and finally Baseball-Athletics. So far, he seems to be enjoying the classes. Oh, I will have to post an additional picture soon of Jason because the Baseball coach suggested strongly he get a hair cut. He did that last night. :-)

Here are Megan and Ryan. They are in the 3rd grade this year. It also marks the first time that they have been in separate classrooms, with their very own teachers. Still, we had to have at least one picture of the twins together! Here they are:Here is Ryan's picture by himself:

Today is Thursday, and so far, all systems are go! The kids seem to be back in the swing of the school year and they all seem to enjoy their various teachers.

My crossing guard job got off to a good start as well. Nothing really new or alarming. I can remember being pretty scared last year on the first day of school.
