Holiday Concert of Handbells

Tonight I had the opportunity to hear the Concert Bells of Fort Worth ring their Christmas Concert. Fran, Kim and Mary Beth from my own handbell group joined me for the concert, and also my dear friend Michelle from my post on the Breast Cancer 3-Day walk also joined us. As always, CBFW did not disappoint. They are an auditioned ensemble of talented musicians with a love for the english handbells. They ring 5 octaves of Malmark handbells and 5 1/2 octaves of Malmark handchimes. I wish I could reproduce the music here, but I don't know how to get music from a CD to my blog.

I did manage to sneak two pictures - and although they are not great quality, I will share them anyhow. It is beginning to sound a lot like Christmas!
