Megan Got Her Ears Pierced !!!
Megan did it! For the last couple of years Megan has been asking questions about getting her ears pierced. We have always told her the truth - that yes, it would hurt a bit - but for a short time. She has never been ready, until last week.
On Friday afternoon, Megan, my Mom and I all drove to Claire's Boutique and shopped for earrings. Megan chose to get earrings with her birthstone "Garnet".
There were a few tears (of apprehension mostly) and then, afterwards, some really BIG smiles. See for yourselves:-+October+17+2008.JPG)

Yea for you Megan!!. I didn't get mine pierced until 5th grade!
Awww, they look great! I bet she admires them every chance she gets! I had to be 13 before I got mine. I never understood that logic, but whatever. Glad she's so happy with them!
