Halloween 2008

Halloween was good but different this year. At nearly 15 years old Jason opted out of trick or treating for the first time. Seriously, we saw a lot of teenagers - I think he could have gone and none of our neighbors would have blinked.

Megan was invited to a Birthday/Halloween/Slumber party at her friends' house. She went as a cheerleader:

Ryan A.K.A. The Grim Reaper, was essentially an only-child last night. Mike and I walked with him around almost the entire 6 streets of our neighborhood. He got a ton of candy. No one to hinder him or hold him back.

Did I mention that Jason, Mike and I usually benefit from the twins candy since they both have braces? No Skittles, Now & Laters, Snickers (nuts), carmels, Laffy Taffy, etc. One guy in our neighborhood gives out $5.00 gift cards to a local family fun center with arcades, bowling, etc. Another young lady always has a set up for roasting marshmallows (with parental approval of course). The weather here was superb too, a very comfortable 65 degrees or so.

My next post may be as early as tomorrow. I need to post Megan and Ryan's pictures of their 3-D Geometry creations. Stay tuned!

Wow - your neighborhood rocks! Your daughter makes an adorable cheerleader. And your son - he probably would have scared me showing up like that. I don't care if they're tiny creatures, when I see the masks, something in me tells me to run!!!
