Some things about Mike
I saw a husband meme with a twist on Cindy's blog so I thought I'd copy it! Here you go...
1. He's sitting in front of the TV, what is on the screen?
Sports! Baseball, football, hockey, basketball, any kind of sports.
2. You're out to eat; what kind of dressing does he get on his salad?
None. He likes his salad DRY.
3. What's one food he doesn't like?
He pretty much likes any and everything and is easy to please. But the one food he absolutely will NOT eat is: CORN !! He will eat it in a soup if there are many other ingredients, but forget corn or corn-on-the-cob.
4. You go out to the bar. What does he order?
I can't remember the last time we did that, Rum and Coke?
5. Where did he go to high school?
Victoria High School. Home of the Stingarees.
6. What size shoe does he wear?
Size 11 1/2 . I find that to be a boring question, but I suppose you didn't know that about him, right?
7. If he was to collect anything, what would it be?
Baseball cards & autographs from heavy metal bands.
8. What is his favorite type of sandwich?
Subway Turkey Breast sandwich on wheat with EVERYTHING on it. Except corn, of course!
9. What would he eat every day if he could?
PEAS! The family says he once slept with a can of Green Giant peas under his pillow. Recently, kind of on a dare - he ate a bite of peas with some ice cream.
10. What is his favorite cereal?
Frosted Flakes - with NO milk. Just DRY, thanks! ***I have been informed that he Might actually prefer Count Chocula cereal. Still DRY.
11. What would he never wear?
A thong??
12. What is his favorite sports team?
Houston Astros, Dallas Cowboys. Other teams would be ones the kids are on.
13. Who did he vote for?
I have no idea. In 22 ½ years of marriage, he has never told me who he votes for.
14. Who is his best friend?
Me, I guess, with the kids coming in a super close second.
15. What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn't do?
When I forget to clean my hair out of the shower drain.
16. How many states has he lived in?
TEXAS. Only Texas.
17. What is his heritage?
German primarily. I think. **ALSO Welch on his Father's side.
18. You bake him a cake for his birthday; what would it be?
Anything chocolate. Lots of chocolate.
19. Did he play sports in high school?
Not in high school. He is proficient at several sports – but didn’t play in school. He did skateboard and he had a half-pipe in his backyard.
20. What could he spend hours doing?
Sleeping, listening to Heavy Metal music, also play Xbox 360 Live.
21. What's something cool about him?
Mike has a great sense of humor. He also tends to be very laid back. He is also fantastic at getting down and really playing with the kids. He is something of a big kid himself!

I think he is the best son-in-law. He is also kind and considerate to his in-laws. A terrific man. We are thankful you and Mike have each other and especially that we are a part of it. Love - your Mom
