It Lives !!!!! It is resurrected!!
About 2 weeks ago I drowned my cell phone accidently in a cup of Diet Coke. I posted about it HERE. I have had another phone to use that I borrowed. My SLVR has been disassembled and laying on the kitchen counter. About 3 days afterwards - it would turn on, but none of the number or menu keys worked. Periodically, I have checked on it mostly because Megan wanted to use it for play. I was putting her off because I kept hoping that it would begin to work again. Persistance pays off!
This morning, I re-assembled the phone and to my surprise it actually works now! I have made and received some calls and sent a few text messages! All is well!!!
I am so excited!

Can I just ask - maybe I missed the post - but how in the world did your cell phone drown in some diet coke???
Well - I typically take a CAN of Diet Coke with me to crossing guard duty. On the morning in question, I had taken a CUP of diet coke. Duty was nearly over and I was texting or something when a parent approached to be crossed. I dropped the phone into what I assumed was a cup holder - when in fact it was the open cup of Diet Coke. This is why I was so hard on myself. Pure genius!
